http://tomtwomeyseries.org/long-island-collection-hurricane-1938/large/ Many moons ago, Jon’s interest in wargaming started after seeing what he thought was a “walking castle” (Imperator Titan) poster hanging on the walls of a Games Workshop.
buy cytotec without a prescription This spark was kindled when his cousin handed him a bag full of goblins and set him on the path that would lead him to landing his dream job with Modiphius, helping look after their Wargames department.
In his spare time he likes to paint miniatures for competition and adds to his pile of unpainted miniatures which he is convinced is buying him immortality (you cannot die until you paint your last miniature).
After the collapse of WoW:TCG & WoW:Minis, Chom introduced Nik to Warmachine and Hordes, where he was peer-pressured into playing Cygnar.A few small tournaments and a nationals later and Nik was hooked, joining Chom and 2 others at the start of Elite Cadre.
Through his 7 years with the system Nik has now played, bought and sold nearly every faction under the sun. He’s also expanded his horizons to include the X-Wing minatures game.
At the event, you’ll likely find him behind a computer inputting your results, handing out your prizes, or following Chom or Jon like a little lost puppy.. awww “
"The Wargaming Trader"
Ian has been wargaming since the advent of Rogue Trader in the late Eighties and runs the Warhammer Trader eBay store and Wargaming Trader online store.
He currently plays Infinity, Epic Armageddon and occasionally new 40k!
As a freelancer for Corvus Belli he maintains the Infinity rules wikis, is the main English rules editor for and recently wrote the booklets for the Beyond Icestorm and Beyond Red Veil sets.
At the event you’ll find Ian running Infinity and Aristeia! events and pontificating about the background of Infinity!
Chom has been shuffling tin toys about for almost a quarter of a century, and offering to throw dice at people for about as long. While he’s moved through a lot of gaming systems his main focus since 2009 has been Warmachine, specifically his Mercenaries.
You’ll most likely find him at the casual play desk, or making computers do what they’re supposed to at BonesCon. If his voice sounds familiar it may be from the Elite Cadre podcast he co-hosts at http://elitecadre.wordpress.com
Charlie is a relatively new table top gamer, having picked up Warmachine only 4 years ago and is a Warmachine purist having it as his only active miniatures game. Charlie is heavily involved in his local gaming club The Leinster Brigands as the current president, part of the Irish WTC committee that hosted the event, a current WTC Team Ireland member and one of the organizers of the Irish Gauntlet tournament.
Charlie looks after the website for Bonescon and designs the handy booklets.
Barry has been a nerd for as long as he can remember, and has always been someone who likes to organise things. When a wife and 3 kids came along, he decided to do the honourable thing and become a house husband. This left plenty of brain space for Wargaming, and organising, although not much actual hobby time.
A former Press Ganger and currently the host of Warmaster Podcast, which focuses on the best game GW ever made, https://warmasterpodcast.podbean.com/ he loves himself those dead game systems. “What’s dead can never die”. He is also the owner and production droid of Black Gate Miniatures, which has had two successfully funded Kickstarters in 2017, https://www.blackgateminiatures.com/
You will find Barry working at the casual play desk, on the alternate shifts to “MrChom”, keeping players happy and the games rolling is his prime directive. You may also see him playing in the Monsterpocalypse World Championship on Saturday night.
David got back into wargaming when his children discovered Warhammer 40k, and his support grew from painting lessons to some rather large 40k and WFB armies.
Once he discovered skirmish gaming, via Rackham’s Confrontation, his passion grew in that direction, and via Hell Dorado, AT-43, Infinity and others eventually arrived at Malifaux.
Since then he’s been playing, organising demos and running tournaments, and is one of the longest serving Henchmen anywhere.
His passion for Malifaux doesn’t prevent him playing other games, and has teams/crews for Guild Ball, Dread Ball, Konflikt 47 and Open Combat, amongst others.
